THE CARTILY FIELD GUIDE

Claim, correct or remove a Cartily profile

Cartily may add a basic profile using information a business has made public. An unclaimed profile is labelled that way because the business is not yet managing it.

What an unclaimed profile does and does not say

It can identify the business, a general area and its own public page. It does not mean the business approved the profile, is open now or has any particular product in stock.

Cartily does not invent products, prices, opening times or the owner’s consent. A shop’s exact home address is not needed to create a useful basic profile.

If you run the business

Open the profile and choose “Claim this profile.” Sign in and explain your role. Cartily checks ownership through an independent business channel before giving access to an existing profile.

Control of a newly supplied email address or phone number alone does not prove ownership of the business. Do not send identity documents in the claim note. Once access is confirmed, you can maintain the profile and choose what contact or pickup information to publish.

If information needs changing

Use “Suggest a correction” or “Request removal” on the profile. Claiming, paying or promoting Cartily is not a condition of correction or removal. You can also contact support@cartily.co.

Give enough information to identify the profile and the problem. Do not include private customer information or unnecessary personal documents.

If you are starting a new shop profile

Ordinary new profiles can publish without a person approving each one. Claiming an existing business profile is a separate ownership check, designed to prevent somebody else taking control of that business’s page.
