THE CARTILY FIELD GUIDE

Put your Cartily profile on a counter sign

A counter sign works best when it offers one clear next step: scan to visit your shop’s Cartily profile. The customer can then decide whether to follow and choose alerts.

Use your own shop code

Create the QR from your shop’s Cartily sharing tools. Check the printed web address and scan the code yourself. A shop code should open your business, not a generic home page or a sample shop.

Use the production Cartily destination for material you hand out. A protected preview can ask a customer to sign in to a testing service, even if it works on your own phone.

Make the sign easy to use

Place the code on a plain light background, keep the clear border around it and avoid putting a logo over its squares. Add your business name and a readable web address so customers know where they are going.

Print one copy at its final size. Test it under the lighting at the stand and through any holder or sleeve. A successful scan from your computer screen does not prove that a glossy printed sign will scan.

Explain the benefit in one sentence

Try: “Follow us on Cartily and choose an alert for our next opening.” Do not promise that a scan alone subscribes someone or that every phone will show a message immediately.

A small packaging sticker can help people find you again after they leave. A larger counter sign is easier to notice while they are waiting.

Make the destination worth keeping

Before displaying the sign, check your photos, usual hours, contact route and pickup instructions. Share the same shop link in your social bio and posts.

Your Cartily code is a route to your profile. It is not a payment link, an order confirmation or a guarantee of stock. Keep sales arrangements in the channels your customers already use.
