Set regular hours without updating every day
Regular hours help customers decide when to visit. Cartily can use a weekly schedule to change your shop’s availability automatically; you can still make a temporary change when the day does not go to plan.
Start with the same-hours shortcut
In your shop’s hours editor, enter the opening and closing times once. Choose “Use for every day” if all seven days match, or “Use for weekdays” for Monday through Friday. Save the form to keep the change.
You can then adjust individual days. Leave a day without opening windows when you do not normally open. If you close for lunch, use the optional second window instead of showing one uninterrupted day.
Plan for special dates
Use a special date for a holiday, a one-off opening or a planned closure. Check that the date and times describe the day you intend. Scheduled hours use the shop’s time zone, rather than a visitor’s device clock.
Do not list a weekly opening just because you might have stock. If you open irregularly, announcing each opening may give customers a more accurate picture.
Change today when you need to
A temporary close or opening can override the regular schedule. Check the confirmation and the time the override ends, so you know when the usual schedule resumes.
Opening hours and stock are different. A shop may have hours set but be sold out of the items whose stock it counts. Leaving quantities uncounted is an option when you do not want inventory tracking.
Give customers enough context
Hours are useful information, not a reservation or a guaranteed product hold. Put pickup instructions and a contact route on your profile, and ask customers to contact you when an arrangement is required.
After saving, check the public profile. If you use phone opening alerts, test one from a second account before asking your customers to rely on them.
