How to Post an Opening, Fresh Batch or Shop Update on Cartily

Your menu tells people what you make. Your hours tell them when you usually open. An update answers the question they have today: Is the cart out? Did the cinnamon rolls arrive? Did the rain change the plan? Cartily gives shops a way to share those timely changes with people who follow them.

Pick the right place for the information

Put information that stays true for a while on your shop page: regular products, photos, contact route, pickup details, and usual hours. Use a shop update for something that happened or changed today. Use a Next drop when you have a particular batch planned for a particular time and want shoppers to request a reminder for it.

That distinction keeps your page useful. A post saying “Open Saturday” should not be the only place a customer can find your normal Saturday hours. A permanent menu item should not look like a promise that the last box is still on the shelf.

Write an update someone can act on

Lead with the news, then give the details. For an opening, tell people what is available, where to go, and when you expect to close. For a fresh batch, name the product and give the earliest pickup time. For a sellout or schedule change, say what is no longer true and what the next option is.

For example:

The cart is open until 2 p.m. today! Chocolate chip boxes and lemon bars are out now. The brownies will be ready around 11; I'll update this if that changes.

Or:

Rain got the better of our roadside setup, so we're closed today. Preorders already confirmed for pickup are still on; please use the pickup instructions I sent you.

Avoid saying “available now” before the food is packed or the stand is ready. If the item needs a direct order, include the ordering instructions rather than sending people to an address without a confirmed purchase.

Know who hears about it

People can follow a shop in Cartily and choose the kinds of updates they want, such as openings, seller updates, and drops. They may see those updates in the app or choose phone notifications; following alone does not force every kind of alert onto their phone. That makes a clear, useful update better than several vague teasers. You are talking to neighbors who asked to keep up with you.

A Next drop reminder is a separate action. A shopper can tap Remind me for a planned drop, and Cartily sends that requested reminder when you confirm the plan. A reminder does not reserve a box or complete an order. If the plan changes, edit or cancel the drop so its status is accurate. The existing Next drop guide walks through that flow.

Close the loop when the day changes

If you sell out, close early, move locations, or add another batch, update the page where people are looking. Correct your stand sign and social posts too. A person leaving home at noon should not have to infer today's situation from a cheerful 8 a.m. photo.

You do not need to post constantly. A few timely, specific updates earn more trust than a stream of messages that leave people guessing. Keep making the good things. Tell your followers when and where to find them. Cartily can help carry that news to the people who asked for it.
