How bakery drops work
A bakery drop is a batch offered on a particular day: Saturday cinnamon rolls, Friday cookies or focaccia at a market. Some bakers take preorders. Others sell first come, first served. Check the announcement to see how to buy.
Before you make plans, check what is on the menu, when sales or pickup begin, whether you need to order ahead and where to go. If the post leaves something out, ask the baker.
Find your favorite baker’s next drop
Save the baker’s shop page and follow the account they update most often. Look for a recent post or pinned menu. On Cartily, some shops show a planned Next drop with a time and pickup note.
How to preorder a bakery drop
On Cartily, tapping Remind me asks for a heads-up when the baker confirms a planned drop. To reserve something, use the baker’s preorder form or message them through the ordering method they list.
If the post is unclear, ask: “Are Saturday’s rolls preorder only, or can I stop by when you open?”
Check pickup details before you go
Check the date, pickup window, address or market booth and payment method. For home pickup, the baker will share the exact address and instructions after you arrange an order.
If the batch sells out, ask when the baker plans to make it again and whether they take preorders.
