THE CARTILY FIELD GUIDE
Already have a Facebook page? Here’s how Cartily can help
Cartily gives your local shop a page where customers can check your hours, find out how to contact you and follow you for another visit. Add that link to the Facebook page you already use, and give people an easy next step when something you post catches their eye.
Put the everyday answers in one place
Are you open today? Where do I pick up? How do I ask about something I saw? Those are useful questions, but answering them repeatedly takes time. A clear shop page gives customers somewhere to check first.
Your Cartily profile can bring together your photos, story, product information, hours, pickup instructions and chosen contact links. Customers can browse it without creating an account. You decide which business contact details and pickup information to publish.
Give that page a simple job: help someone understand what you offer and take the next step with you. If you arrange orders through Facebook Messenger, your website or another contact route, explain that on your profile. Purchases and pickup arrangements stay directly between you and your customer.
Save your regular hours once
Cartily can use your saved schedule to show when your shop is open or closed. If your hours are the same every day, apply the times across the week, then adjust any exceptions. Special dates and temporary changes help you keep the page useful when plans change.
Irregular openings work too: update your availability when you open. Keep your pickup instructions clear, especially if customers need to arrange a time before visiting. Hours tell people when you operate; they do not reserve an item or guarantee that a particular product remains in stock.
Give a happy customer a way to find you again
A customer who enjoyed your bread, bought a plant or found a gift at your stall may want to come back. Put your shop’s Cartily QR sign where they can scan it, or share the profile link after a visit.
They can sign in and follow your shop to keep it in their Following feed. Opening alerts are a separate choice: customers choose them and allow phone notifications on a supported device. A scan or a follow does not automatically subscribe anyone to phone alerts.
A useful invitation is simple: “Follow our shop on Cartily for our hours and opening updates.” It tells customers what they get and leads them straight to your page.
Help people discover you by what you offer
Someone may be looking for local honey, flowers or handmade gifts without knowing your business name. Choosing accurate categories helps your profile appear in the relevant places people browse on Cartily.
You do not need a cart or a bakery. Farm stands, market stalls, home pickup businesses, food trucks and storefronts can describe how they work. Show real photos and choose the product types that fit your business, so visitors know what to expect.
Make it part of the promotion you already do
Keep sharing your work, news and personality on Facebook. Add your Cartily link to your Page’s links, a pinned introduction or a post about your next opening. Customers who want the practical details can go straight to your shop page.
For example: “Saturday flowers are nearly ready. Our hours and pickup details are on Cartily: [your shop link]. Follow our shop there to find us again.” Replace the example with your own goods and plans, and check the profile before sharing it.
At your stand, use the same invitation on a QR sign. Scan the printed sign with a phone before putting it out, and make sure it opens your own shop.
Start with a page that answers the basics
Creating a basic Cartily shop profile is free. Start with the business name your customers know, one clear photo, a short description and the contact route you actually check. Add your usual hours or explain how customers should arrange a visit.
If Cartily already has an unclaimed profile for your business, use its claim option to request management of that page. Otherwise, create your own profile. Then open it as a visitor, check the details and share the link with your customers.
You do not need to turn every customer into an app user. Give them a useful page first, and a reason to follow when they want to come back.
